Facebook buys and destroys Gowalla →
So now GOWALLA, one of the founding companies of the geo-location space is gone… facebook acquires the site, just to shut it down (and most likely include all users, data and gowalla services into its own offering).
The truth is… nobody really uses facebook’s own geo-location service (fb places), because it’s boring, difficult to do and people do not have a real incentive...
